Center for Architecture Sarasota is pleased to announce less is more – Tiny House Competition. The competition is designed to challenge and seek creativity with ideas and concepts for the Tiny House. The aim of the competition is to promote small flexible, affordable and sustainable alternatives to traditional housing, while simultaneously raising awareness for non-traditional housing needs. For example, small movable structures can provide temporary housing for first responders and those displaced by disasters. They can house the homeless, and provide accessory dwellings to serve as on-property housing for aging relatives, students or returning children.
