EXHIBIT REVIEW: “Naked: The Architecture of Guy Peterson”
Architect Guy Peterson is a 21st century modernist. He’s often called a “minimalist,” but he ducks that label. He prefers to call himself an “essentialist.” Less is more isn’t exactly his style. Enough is enough is more like it. Strip away the frills and get down to the essence. That’s his style.
“Naked,” the current exhibit at The Center for Architecture, offers a retrospective of Peterson’s residences and the design philosophy animating his work.
