American Designed Landscapes: SPACE and LIGHT
American Designed Landscapes: SPACE and LIGHT
Photographs by Alan Ward, FASLA, Principal, Sasaki
October 16 – December 29, 2018
An exhibit of designed landscapes photographed to express the deep connection between our culture and the land in a very positive way. By reducing the image from complex color to shades of gray, the image becomes more powerful and poetic, revealing the landscape not by color, but by light, tone and contrast.
